The two battles continue from the previous episode. Naruto is released from Itachi's genjutsu by Chiyo and Sakura after his failed attempt to release himself.
Distracted and immobilized by Kakashi's shadow clone, Itachi takes a direct hit from Naruto's Great Ball Rasengan. Meanwhile, Guy defeats Kisame using his Morning Peacock technique.
The Konoha shinobi then find, to their surprise, that they have not defeated Itachi or Kisame, but two entirely different people.
